Hanasho’s menu is very extensive, so even those who avoid raw fish will surely find something pleasing among the seafood salads; beef, chicken, pork and seafood entrees; noodle dishes; hibachi skewers; and bento boxes filled with combo meals like a California roll and beef teriyaki, along with rice and miso soup or salad.
Hanasho is located in an unassuming strip mall, but don’t let that fool you. The Dallas Observer said it best when they wrote, “Sushi and sashimi are impeccably fresh, and certain varieties can be had during happy hour for just a buck. Hamachi collar and delectably fatty toro are standouts. Besides the requisite raw fish, this traditional sushi joint also offers other Japanese specialties like shabu-shabu — raw beef and vegetables served with a pot of hot water for DIY cooking at your table — shrimp and vegetable tempura, teriyaki and ramen and udon noodle soups.
